Arsenal won the 1950 FA Cup beating Liverpool and Newcastle won the 1951 FA Cup beating Blackpool. Before a crowd of 100,000 person at Wembley, Arsenal had to play from the minute 35th with 10 men as Wally Barnes suffered a knee injury. Other 3 Arsenal players, Cliff Holton, Don Roper and Ray Daniel, suffered injuries but remained on the pitch. Newcastle took advantage of this and scored at minute 84th from the Chilean star George Robledo. Newcastle won their second FA Cup in a row.
