Luffy vs Katakuri was a phenomenal fight. 100 out of 10 for me. Very very proud of Luffy. This is a fight of will power and when it comes to fights like that- I think : the man that falls and always gets back up has more will than the man that never falls! - Transparent Hoodie Entertainment: Luffy always knew snake man it was never needed till now because of the drawback of not being able to use his haki for 10 minutes or longer that’s why Katakuri gave Luffy the win for now and ask will you try to take down big mom again basically saying are you coming back and Luffy said yes cause remember cause Katakuri honor wouldn’t allow him to fight Luffy if he couldn’t use his haki
- Transparent Hoodie Entertainment: It’s the way Oda structure the series Luffy always fight the strongest antagonist or character within his limitation and in this case it was somewhat Katakuri but Katakuri was Stronger
- Josei No Koe: I dont think Luffy should have to fight every Boss in his own. I thought the point of the 2 years was for Luffy and his nakama to become stronger in their own way so that they can help their captain. Hell when Goku gets help in alot of his fights aka fusion and I dont see so much criticism . Why is it different with Luffy, especially when it is a show establishing the importance of the crew. But I can see where you are coming from, good points! 👍👍
- Transparent Hoodie Entertainment: The controversy mostly come from whether or not Luffy is Yonko first division commander level, not really this fight. Luffy for the most part needed assistance to fight Doflamingo, Cracker, and Katakuri so it kinda makes the character seems incompetent in the sense that you are going to be fighting Yonko and other adversaries as strong and stronger then Katakuri people would just prefer an one on one with no outside gimmicks and quirky tactics with other characters so that Luffy can come out on top. They want to see Luffy display his own level of battle sense and strength in a fight

- Transparent Hoodie Entertainment: Josei No Koe personally the controversy stem from old fans vs new fans where older fans are accustomed to seeing Luffy solo everything and taking down his opponent while the new fans are just happy with the overall progression that they see with Luffy and the crew as a whole

It shouldn’t be that much of a big deal if Luffy gets assistance here and there cause it’s like you said the whole crew trained to be competent combatants whether or not there as strong as let’s say a “commander” or “shichibukai” shouldn’t matter they could be effective in subtle ways and get results.
