HeadPhoneMasa: +sherry yung so a story of aliens invading earth and samurai defending their home for the sake of their honor but failed, and the samurai's were banned with swords. during that time their was a dojo where they taught swordsmanship to poor childs, shouka sonjuku by yoshida shouyo. but caught by the amanto, the disciples helped but failed and parted ways. years later, gintoki the protagonist is now doing a business yorozuya where they help people for money teamed up with shinpachi and kagura assisting peoples around edo and going though alot of troubles not a story u like? i know gintama is episodic, but they have alot of characters with many great personality and use the episodic element to give each other even amount of screen times and development. i appreciate everything gintama does and i think u should too, but it's just my opinion.

54. bunartist: Not that Gintama ever had bad music, but I thought they really outdid themselves for this arc. I love that they have such distinctive sound for each major serious arc. In fact, they actually have a slightly different visual style too..like the reddish hues of the Baragaki arc or the moonlit look of this one.  I'm just saying you can tell the staff really loves the series and always do their best despite their budget. According themselves both the staff and cast would love to keep going, and the movie did really well, so I'm positive we'll see a triumphant return of Gintama a few years down the line when there's enough material for another long run like the first season.
